Assignment Brief

Task 7

Below you can watch my presentation where I talk about my inspirations for my story and specifically about the panels that you can see, such as what is happening in them and then what the whole story is and how it links to my life and what in my life inspired it. 

This inspired my work as it is used in the first half of story and the static on my TV inspired the flash that is created.

My Xbox is a major inspiration to my story as it is used to start off my story and it inspired my idea of being trapped in a virtual world.

After I talk finish talking about my story and inspirations, I answer questions from my peers such as If I could change anything would I? ad how is the story inspired by my life.

When I was asked if there is anything I would change such as add or take away from it, I agreed and the main things I would change if I had the chance would be some of the drawings and make them more colourful so they are easier to see and I would add few more panels to make the story longer and I would like to improve on my art style. 

Task 6

Synopsis

After waking up early in the morning, Chris i finds himself in a whole new world filled with pirates and amazing powers unable to return home. Chris must face a great challenge as it may be his only way of escaping to the real world. Although it is just a dream or something even stranger, if he perishes, there is a good chance he may never return from it. With his greatest foe to face Chris must drastically change and become equally as dangerous and after a massive confrontation Chris wakes up finally home.

Task 5

Colored Storyboard 

I have now added colors to my drawings to make them more interesting, I used an array of different colors for clothing, ships, the ocean, skin and even my characters attacks.

Task 4

Development of Storyboard

Here is my storyboard without any color.

Here in these panels my character has just woken up and can't go back to sleep so he decides to go on his Xbox, but something happens and he falls unconscious and finds himself waking up in a ship when suddenly someone barges in shouting Blackbeard. 

In these panels my character emerges from the cabin and in the distance you can see Blackbeard's ship, then as my character orders his men to fire his ship comes under fire and he is soon hit by a cannon fire and this is when he realizes that he cant be hurt by physical attacks and how he got the powers so he continues to order his men to attack, but even though Blackbeard's ship has been hit it continues to ram my characters ship.

Here you can see Blackbeard's men boarding my characters ship but they are soon stopped in their tracks as my character engulfs them in flames but then a black shadowy figure emerges from the flames and with a click of his fingers the flames disappear and it is revealed that this figure is none other than Blackbeard. My character then rushes him dealing a fiery blow to his gut but he does not flinch and they both then begin exchanging blows over and over again.  

Here you can see that my character is soon filled with rage and bursts out in anger engulfing both him and Blackbeard
